The Karune is a black chiffon maxi skirt designed with a fitted panel through the waist and hip—creating the structure of a mini skirt before releasing into full, draped volume.
Multiple chiffon panels are attached at the hip and cut to move independently, allowing the skirt to be styled in different ways: layered to the side, worn between the legs, or opened to shift the shape. An invisible zip closure at the back maintains a clean finish.
Mid-rise and unlined, the Karune is lightweight and breathable. The silhouette reflects Kwame’s signature draping, used not for decoration, but as a form of tailored construction.
